The message is intended to reveal the reality of our day and age. Amidst to spread of information through media, it is increasingly becoming difficult to know what truth is in society. Evening Fishing
Acrylic painting - 3840 x 2880 - (1st/2/2022)
Evening fishing was the second piece in a series of CPT paintings entitled Serenade of Beuty. The painting was inspired by Iris Scott's oil on canvas Blue Lagoon (2020), as well as the music piece by Jules Massenet's Méditation (1894). Concerning the theme of beauty, the painting boldly stands out with its very warm colors. It's meant to instill a sense of warmth and comfort for the viewers, somewhat therapeutic towards the audience.

Climate Debacle

Oil on Pastelle - (28/11/2021)
This painting was inspired by the ingenious works of both Van Gogh and Dali Salvador. It's a 35cm x 28 cm Pastel on paper artwork. It was greatly inspired by Dali Salvador's "Maison pour Erotomane" (1932), and Vincent Van Gogh's "wheat field with cypresses" (1889). The pastel work expresses the theme of distress and chaos, as it symbolizes the consequences of human activity on our climate. Our metallic hands (technological generation) are stripping away the beauty of our planet, which is a big yet fragile planet.
Singing Oaks
Acrylic painting - 2857 x 3376 - (1st/2/2022)
The piece was created along with two others in my CPT series of Serenade of Beuty. The composition is inspired by Iris Scott's Nieve (2016) old on canvas painting in the impressionist style. Wolfgang Amadeus' Serenade For Winds; K 361; 3rd Movement also influenced the picture. The flowing leaves are designed to represent the strong bond that exists between beauty and nature. The picture is aimed to demonstrate how nature, despite its chaos, can yet exhibit beauty and order. In addition, the leaves make a treble clef rhythm from tree to tree in Mozart's composition.

The painting is part of a series of artworks entitled Serenae of Beuty. Deeply inspired by Iris Scott's oil on canvas Green River Sockeye (2016), as well as L'Arlesienne Menuet (1879). The painting is of a pound decorated with flowers and leaves of various colors floating above the surface of the water. The painting and the music express the feeling of beauty through their deep emotion of peace and soundness. Within the painting, the patches of flowers flow around, yet all in sync and harmonious.

Striving Fowl
Acrylic painting - 2782 x 3278 - (16th/12/2021)
This art piece was deeply inspired by Picasso's 'Seated woman' (1909). The piece mainly has monochromatic hues of blues and whites. The art piece has lots of both straight and diagonal lines connecting and structuring the fowl. The artwork, created in Cubism, is completely geometric in appearance. The artwork celebrates the culture of West Africa during the invasions of Great Britain during the 1800s.

Little Boat
Acrylic painting - 2993 x 3840 - (5th/1/2022)
"Little Boat", was greatly inspired by the works of both a contemporary American artist Iris Scott, and by the renowned French visual artist Eugene Bidau. From the title alone, the painting ironically isn’t of a little boat, but a big Ferry that appears relatively smaller compared to the larger size of the landscape. It's a piece meant to celebrate the mass and beauty of nature. The piece is meant to remind the audience that despite our artificial sophistication, nature would always out-compete our grandest designs. We humans have within us the desire to explore and to be lost in the immensity of creation, the same way the ferry seems to be. The wavy movements symbolize the chaotic, yet organized nature of nature, making us appear insignificant within it.
