Baseball David

Pop Art - (18th/5/2021)

For this task, I sketched the famous sculpture of David, created by Gian Lorenzo Bernini in the year 1624. I was deeply inspired by Andy Warhol's Marilyn Monroe ink pop art, and I aimed at incorporating Baseball fashion items along with the sculpture. The main theme surrounding the piece is mainly the theme of baseball, with the intent of expressing both the excitement and intensity of the athletic game using the sculpture's facial expressions and muscular movements.

A walk in the falls

We were to create an art piece that reflects the techniques and principles behind much of the artworks made during the period while being sensitive and careful not to culture appropriate any of its contents. The artwork celebrates the Japanese art styles of the Edo period and is meant to give us a source of inspiration to create our's in a similar style.

New Yam

In my artwork entitled New Yam, I incorporated various techniques and styles to achieve my desired piece. It is an artwork that was deeply inspired by my family's cultural background and is filled with many cultural symbols and traditions. The main idea behind the art piece is to give the viewer a taste of the Igbo culture, as well as how different mediums can be combined to create an artwork that represents and celebrates the culture.

Caricature Photo Manipulation

For this artwork, we were to create a photoshopped image of ourselves, with various images that help the audience understand who we are. The theme of the image is the celebrate us as individuals, as well as all the things we enjoy and love.

This was a poster designed to inform the audience with a visual representation of the effects of distracted driving on society. It includes numbers and charts, as well as vector images to educate views on the subject.

Pixel Animation

Pixel Gif - (11th/1/2021)

One of my favorite tasks was the Pixel animation. The medieval chess game was the theme of these Gifs, as each character is well known as a chess piece in the chess game.
